Query Task Status

PixVerse video-generation requests are asynchronous. Creation endpoints return a video_id; use the GET Query Task Status API definition in Preparation to check progress and retrieve the output URL.
The HTTP interface page contains the request headers, path parameter, response schema, examples, and debugging controls. This guide only describes the polling workflow.

Workflow#

1.
Submit a video-generation request and save Resp.video_id.
2.
Poll the same video_id every 3-5 seconds while the task is processing.
3.
Treat the task as complete only when status=1 and Resp.url is accessible.
4.
Stop polling after a terminal failure and review the request before creating a new task.

Status Values#

statusMeaningRecommended action
1Generation completedRetrieve the output from Resp.url.
5GeneratingContinue polling every 3-5 seconds.
7Content moderation failedReview the input content before retrying.
8Generation failedInspect the request and retain the Ai-trace-id for troubleshooting.

Polling Guidance#

Use a new Ai-trace-id for every status request.
Do not submit a duplicate generation request only because processing takes longer than expected.
Preserve the original video_id, request time, HTTP status, ErrCode, and Ai-trace-id when contacting support.
For failed tasks, verify any applicable refund in the account ledger before treating reconciliation as complete.
